Well, I had my first ever interview yesterday which led to my first ever job…and it isn’t fast food! Yay!!
I’m not a sales associate at American Eagle at the mall close to my university. It’s really really exciting and I can’t wait to start. My friend is convinced I’m perfect for retail so let’s hope she’s right about that! I have orientation Monday at 6pm.
For anyone that has an interview there soon, or wants to try and get a job…it really wasn’t that bad. He asked me to tell him about myself, and asked about my references, and where I lived normally. He also asked my strengths and weaknesses and then I had to take a survey about myself and how I think I should be in the workplace.
It told me it’d take about 20 minutes, but it really only took me 5…which I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing. I just know who I am and how to act I guess so it didn’t take long to weed out the ones that didn’t fit.
I guess I should get up some pictures of my dorm soon…though I need to clean again. I am a seriously messy person by nature and a small dorm doesn’t appreciate that. I’ll be glad to get back to my master bedroom at home…oh closet, how I miss your spaciousness.
Anyway, there isn’t too much to discuss at this point, though I might have some major news soon that could completely alter my life O_O [and no, it’s not a pregnancy!]
